Piedmont, California

This is a small remodeling of an existing 1906 shingle house.  In addition to interior projects such as kitchen and bathroom work, the Owners wanted to remodel the front porch area that had been redesigned in the 1960s with metal post columns and metal railings.  Our solution is to reuse the existing columns by enclosing them within new battened and shingled columns, and to provide new wood railings.
